The Search and Rescue Canine Legal Update and Opinions was developed as a tool to assist SAR dog handlers, supervisors and administrators throughout the United States. It deals specifically with case law trends, industry standards, documentation, court room testimony and sample guidelines.
The Accelerant Canine Legal Update and Opinions was developed as a tool to assist accelerant detector dog handlers, supervisors and administrators. It deals with industry standards and case law on accelerant detector dog usage.
These updates are provided and written by Terry Fleck, Deputy Sheriff and Canine Handler (retired), whose goal is to share this information with all law enforcement officers throughout the United States.

After 27 years of service, I have retired from my employment as a deputy sheriff and canine handler. This will afford me the opportunity to teach canine legal update seminars and canine tactical seminars full time.
