Canine Legal Opinions and Updates

These updates are provided and written by Terry Fleck, Deputy Sheriff and Canine Handler (retired), whose goal is to share this information with all law enforcement officers throughout the United States. 2012 new cases are posted in a bold red type in the members area.

Effective January 1, 2012

The Canine Legal Update and Opinions Web Site will continue to run after Terry Fleck retires from teaching his seminars.

The web site will continue indefinitely and Terry Fleck will continue to update it on a regular basis, to insure that you will have the latest K-9 legality and tactical information possible.

The site is being expanded to include updated K-9 Patrol, Supervisors and Administrators, Narcotics, Explosives, Tracking, Accelerant, Search and Rescue, and Cadaver:

• UPDATED Federal case law and Federal statutory law;
• NEW State specific K-9 case law, State statuary law, State standards and State Attorney General Opinions;
• NEW Articles written by Terry Fleck on a variety of K-9 topics;
• NEW K-9 resources;
• CONTINUED 24/7access to Terry Fleck to have your specific questions answered

Effective, January 1, 2012, there will be a subscription fee to access the daily updated site. The fee will be only $25 per user for a 12 month subscription for unlimited access, 24/7, to all K-9 resources, which includes FREE access to Terry Fleck via e-mail or phone call, for any additional questions or support. A user is one individual (one person). The user (one person) fee is $25 per 12 months, 24/7 access, along with phone and e-mail support.

Payment may be made in two ways:

1. On the web site at www.k9fleck.org via credit card. The credit card billing does not use a third party. The credit card payment goes directly to Terry Fleck, as the merchant, or
2. By check, purchase order, invoice, etc.
